Once again it is time for Ruby Tuesday.
The photo above is of a mail box on a street in York, England, taken two years ago.
Above is a photo of boats in a marina in Leeds, England.

While out and about I purchased three new books. My love of photography, and interest in Dorothea Lange, couldn’t let me pass up a new biography about her: Dorothea Lange: A Life Beyond Limits, by Linda Gordon. Linda Gordon has written many history books, and I can’t wait to delve into this latest book of hers in order to learn more about Dorothea Lange’s life and photography.
Anne Frank: The Book, The Life, The Afterlife, by Francine Prose is another book purchase. The book sounds fascinating.
Jacob’s Cane, by Elisa New, is book that is about “A Jewish Family’s Journey from the Four Lands of Lithuania to the Ports of London and Baltimore“.
There you have it, my new purchases and my photographs with red.
Have a nice day, and nice Ruby Tuesday!
Update: I came across this link to a youtube video. It shows Anne Frank on film, looking out of a window of her Amsterdam house, as a bride and groom walk by.

Hello, and happy Ruby Tuesday!
I love the picture of the mailbox. I have ALWAYS wanted to visit England and roam it’s contryside!
You and my husband would get along well. He loves to read history based books. The more accurate the better in his opinion! Those look like interesting books. I’ll have to look them up. Especially the one on Anne Frank.
If you’d like to stop by my blog I’m at Cake Crumbs.

Both photos are wonderful. I like the way the boats are aligned, as if they knew they were being photographed.

Thank you, Ilana. The boats reminded me of toy boats, because they were so colorful.
Yes, they smiled for me.
