I have more books added to my collection, a combination of fiction and non-fiction:
Inside Judaism, by Alfred Kolatch…one can never have too many books on this subject.
Alpha & Omega, by Isaac Rosenfeld…his words are always profound
The Ladies Auxiliary, by Tova Mirvis…I never did get around to reading this bestseller.
Sepharad, by Antonio Muniz Molina…This novel looks compelling and historically educational.

Giving not only encompasses helping others, but it also inspires others, and touches the lives and hearts of both the giver and the receiver. “Tzedakah” can bring rays of sunshine to the recipient, and seem a bit brighter for everyone involved, when hungry mouths are fed, and shelter and clothes are provided.
It is never too late to perform an act of kindness, and although it is especially important during the Days of Awe, from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur, “Tzedakah” is something that we can take action on throughout the year. Volunteering is just as important an act as giving monetarily.
Not only will you be helping another/others, but you will help yourself, in the respect that giving, because we want to, illuminates our own heart, and makes us feel good within…it benefits the receiver, as well as the giver.
The water color and colored pencil on paper artwork is by Adam Rhine.
The photograph of the pond was taken by me.

I am so glad the Boston Bibliophile listed your blog. It’s lovely and thoughtful. I’m a librarian at a K-8 Jewish Day School and welcome the opportunity to see reviews on topics relevant to our adult collection.
