Today is Memorial Day, a day that the U.S. honors its men and women who died while in the service of the military. Many individuals visit cemeteries where loved ones are buried. Others visit memorials, such as the ones in the National Mall, Washington DC, or other memorials in various cities and states. Communities often hold special events and services on Memorial Day.
Let us take a moment to remember all those who died while serving in the military.

I silently remember, light a candle, and still am grateful, more than grateful for the liberation they and all the other nationalities brought.
Will it ever stop? Will the madness of war ever stop. How many more headstones, Memorial Days, lives shattered by the loss of a loved one, a son, a father? Will it ever stop?
