There are many wonderful, etertaining and fascinating upcoming events slated for July, at the National Yiddish Book Center.
The “Paper Bridge Summer Arts Festival” starts off with Film: Silent Comedies on July 6th. July 7th two episodes of the 1950s TV sitcom, “The Goldbergs” will be shown. Also on July 7th, Paul Buhle will speak on Jews in the art form of comics.
From topics such as perserving and translating your memories, to several author events and lectures, to performances by musicians and composers incorporating Yiddish music, to watching films, July looks to be an extremely varied and diverse month for the National Yiddish Book Center. The Arts Festival encompasses so many variables of Jewish life, entertainment and history. If you are in, or near, Amherst, MA, try to stop by and see one of the many scheduled events.
