I came across this interesting article in The Jerusalem Post this morning. It is in regard to a Worldwide Jewish Digital Family Tree, that The Familion Company is endeavoring to create. The Familion Company is Israeli-based.
Individuals can sign up and join their jworld website, and from there participate in the varied areas that apply to genealogy and family trees. You can archive family history, upload a family tree, organize your family photos, and so much more. I have not joined the jworld website, yet, but thought that the idea was interesting, and visited the website after reading The Jerusalem Post article.
The concept is that eventually Jews can be reunited, worldwide, through the building of one enormous family tree, connecting Jews throughout the world.
Check out the article in The Jerusalem Post. If it sounds interesting, then why not look at the jworld website.
