“The same day I saw my first horror camp, I visited every nook and cranny. I felt it my duty to be in a position from then on to testify about these things in case there ever grew up at home the belief or assumption that the stories of Nazi brutality were just propaganda.”
- General Dwight D. Eisenhower
This rotunda houses a statue of (then) General Dwight D. Eisenhower, located in the U.S. National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. He would go on to become a U.S. president.
This is a portion of the Eisenhower statue, a closeup of the upper part of it.
The photographs are two of many taken by me, when I visited the D-Day Memorial.
Jew Wishes…Peace to you all.
