This blog is for everyone, Jewish or otherwise, to visit and/or reply.

I know, I was astounded when I read that article, to see he was the only Jewish chaplin. Chaplins, no matter their religion, serve the entire military.

I do know that there are Chaplins for the Christian religions and for the Catholic religion. But, they serve everyone in need, no matter their faith.

Hugs to you, darling Ruby. I am who I am. :)

Greetings. You have posted some very nice comments on my blog and I thought I should come and visit you and see who you are. Actually, I came the first time and thought I didn't have anything to add here but today I found this post.

I am not Jewish but I guess I don't have to be to post here - what a silly idea in my head! I read the article about this chaplin, Slomo Shulman and I'm just astounded that he is the only chaplain who is there and available to counsel those men and women. (who knows how many)

This seems to be appalling to me - there must be many many many armypeople there who might need his services.

I guess I just don't know what to say. I wonder how many chaplins are available for other religions.

Thanks for calling my/our attention to this.

Peace today.
