I have several Jewish ancestors buried in Jewish Cemeteries in England. I don’t live in England. A dear friend of mine, Charles, along with his cousin went to two cemeteries in order to take photos of my ancestral gravesites/headstones. They were also going to try to clean the headstones, time permitting.
There was a man working at the cemetery, weeding, taking care of the headstones, etc. he helped my friend find my great-great grandmother’s and my great-great grandfather’s headstones. While there, he took his high-speed cleaner and cleaned their headstones. This is a photo of him in the beginning process of cleaning my great-great grandmother, Amelia’s headstone, which was covered with almost a century of grime, algae and mold.
This is a photo taken after it was cleaned. Needless to say, I am so very grateful to Charles, his cousin, and to the cemetery care taker.

Jew Wishes…Peace to you all.
