Jew Wishes Reads: The Lost Tribe, by Paul Zakrzewski

Lost Tribe: Jewish Fiction from the Edge, by Paul Zakrzewski

Lost Tribe is one of those rare reads that will stay with the reader, never to be lost in their minds. The blend of stories and emotions hits every chord of our being, from mysticism/Kabbalah, to sex, gender and Holocaust, each author has brought their uniqueness to the story they have contributed, and at times the rawness is almost unbearable, and the focus can be maddening, while the insight is filled with spirituality and calm.

I liked the fact that the author of each story explained why they wrote what they did, how it was relevant to their own life, or not relevant at all. The characters jump to life within the lines and pages, and long after the reader has finished the book. You will not be disappointed, for this book offers a story for everyone, a story all of us can identify with.

The Lost Tribe, by Paul Zakrzewski is not so much a book about being Jewish, but a collection of stories about how Judaism affected the lives of the authors, who wrote the stories in the book.

I personally have read and own this book.

Jew Wishes…Peace to you all.
